Summary
The Director of Enterprise Architecture is responsible for leading the enterprise architecture practice, overseeing architects and middleware technologies, and ensuring that IT strategies align with the company’s mission, business goals, and operations. This role drives the development and execution of the organization’s technical strategy, leveraging architecture frameworks to guide scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, a deep understanding of business processes, and a proven ability to manage high-performing technical teams.
In this role, you will
- Lead and manage the Enterprise Architecture team, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and professional development.
- Oversee enterprise-wide architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, IT strategy, and compliance with company policies.
- Design and guide the implementation of end-to-end integrated systems, ensuring reuse of technology and consistency across platforms.
- Collaborate with business and IT leaders to define architecture requirements, system components, and technology standards.
- Facilitate the Architecture Review Board and oversee architecture governance, best practices, and approval processes.
- Provide architectural guidance and support for operations, project teams, and strategic initiatives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, conduct unbiased assessments, and develop recommendations aligned with business needs.
- Support IT leadership in planning, budgeting, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts.
What you bring to RNDC
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant field of study required (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum ten years of experience in technology, application and information architecture, including distributed processing environments.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and evaluate the financial impact of solutions.
- Strong leadership, relationship-building, and strategic thinking skills; experience with project management.
- Familiarity with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, or Distribution industries is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools; able to interpret technical documents and write reports.
