Summary

RNDC is looking for an energetic Transportation Clerk responsible for the daily and weekly maintenance of routing documents, audits of driver logs and trip reports, log and driver file DOT requirements tracking. Liaison for internal customer support. Track all return goods as directed and support sales teams with driver delivery updates and problem resolution.

In this role, you will

  • Greet and check-in drivers with professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Accurately enter delivery and return data into internal systems.
  • Audit invoices and driver documents using internal systems.
  • Submit invoices for processing.
  • Use multiple systems to track delivery progress.
  • Support sales team with delivery updates.
  • Identify and escalate any discrepancies or issues promptly.
  • Document all calls, deliveries, routes and times for pickups and deliveries.
  • Understand DOT HOS Rules and Regulations.
  • Other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • Troubleshoot programs to determine routing issues and reporting errors.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and contribute ideas to enhance team efficiency and morale.

What you bring to RNDC

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Two years general office or administrative support experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required.
  • Ability to collaborate with drivers in a high-capacity role with multiple drivers checking in simultaneously.
  • Regular, predictable, and full-time engaged attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Prioritize workload and have flexibility to adjust based on position requirements.
  • Time management and organizational skills.

Compensation

This compensation information is a good faith estimate and provided in accordance with Washington's state law. Similar positions located outside of this jurisdiction may not necessarily receive the same compensation. The starting salary range for this role will be $22-$25/hour and the offer will be based on an applicant’s skills and experience.
