Summary
The Sr. Revenue Management Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day pricing activities for their assigned supplier portfolio in a geographic footprint. This role supports critical business operations by managing and optimizing pricing strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, and driving profitability. The analyst will collaborate with various departments to analyze market trends, develop pricing models, and implement pricing adjustments to achieve business goals.
In this role, you will
- Maintain supplier price models and assess the impact of pricing decisions.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for margin enhancement.
- Review current price structures and provide recommendations during price increases and new item negotiations with suppliers.
- Support the Division Manager of Revenue Management in meetings with suppliers.
- Lead price support reconciliations with suppliers and resolve any disputes.
- Complete new item pricing setups, including validation.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product Managers, and Finance teams, including the Pricing Execution team, to manage price changes.
- Oversee pricing onboarding for non-BU focused suppliers.
What you bring to RNDC
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred; field of study in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and developing financial models for pricing and P&L assessments.
- Effective in presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, suppliers, and customers.
- Apply advanced mathematical concepts to facilitate financial analysis, including trend analysis, budget allocations, growth projections, variance analysis, forecasting, profit flow-through, elasticity analysis, cash flow discounting, and ROI analysis.
- Travel not required.
