- Solidifies strong customer relationships
- Works with customer and Sales Lead to understand areas where support is needed and then provides this help (i.e. will calls, POS delivery, etc.)
- Creates and/or delivers graphics orders & may display for customers at their accounts
- Surveys the account for new menu & feature opportunities and presents promotional activities/material that will improve their representation in the account
- Reports competitive activity and pricing as it occurs to immediate supervisor or Sales Lead
- Attends meetings and trainings as scheduled to increase product knowledge
- Assist as necessary in creating customer business building concepts to increase company share and volume
- Utilizing pricing and promotion strategies, marketing opportunities, servicing, merchandising and category management skills
- Communicating issues, opportunities, and market intelligence through effective written, electronic, and verbal means.
- Covers open sales territory, as needed and as applicable, due to absence or vacation
- This position could require the employee to work some nights, some weekends, and/or some holidays
- Ability to identify growth opportunities within their accounts

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of products
- Ability to read and interpret documents and to write routine reports and correspondence, and to speak effectively with customers and employees
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished (in written, oral, or diagram form)
- Knowledge of Internet, Microsoft Office Suite software (such as Outlook, Word, Excel), order processing systems, cell phone time clock app, and the aptitude to learn new software
- Possess a current valid state driver's license
- Reliable personal vehicle to drive to customers throughout the day
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, repeatedly
- Ability to stand, lift, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
New hires will accrue 80 vacation hours per year as well as 7 holidays per year (after one year 8). RNDC complies with all state and local laws where applicable.
Summary
RNDC is looking for a talented and energetic Sales Support Representatives to join our growing Sales team. The Sales Support Representative is responsible for collaborating with the Sales Lead/Inside Sales Representative to ensure their orders are properly delivered, merchandised, and priced. Assists with customer needs, submits replenishment orders, and builds good working relationships with account personnel.
In this role, you will
- Assist customers with stocking shelves, resetting coolers, and creating displays for their purchased products
- Solidify strong customer relationships
- Work with customers to understand areas where support is needed and then provide this help (i.e. will calls, POS delivery, etc.)
- Place prices and descriptive signs on product
- Check account’s on hand inventory and submits replenishment orders to fill gaps
- Prepare and maintain displays
- Accurately sort, label, and store goods
- Maintain merchandising reports
- Survey the account for merchandising opportunities and presents promotional activities/material that will improve their representation in the store
- Report competitive activity and pricing as it occurs to immediate supervisor
- Cover open sales territory, as needed and as applicable, due to absence or vacation
- This position could require the employee to work some nights, some weekends, and/or some holidays
What you bring to RNDC
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires a current, valid state drivers license, and ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements as defined by the company.
- Product knowledge applicable to wine and spirits industry.
- Experience stocking shelves and understanding of how to create product displays.
